Yesterday we covered how Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter with his rant on how Congress party has named every national asset in the country after the Gandhis. Congress workers were not happy with his "baap ka maal samajh rakha tha" comment in particular. They are now pelting stones at his house.

After Rishi Kapoor, veteran Bollywood actor came out in the open to oppose Congress's efforts to name every national asset in the country like airports, film city etc. after the Gandhi family, Congress workers got angry and pelted stones at his Bandra house for using colorful language. Rishi Kapoor rightly asked a valid question that why every airport, street and other national property is named after the Gandhi family member only. There are other great personalities who have also contributed to the development and growth of our nation. A view that did not sit well with the Congress workers.

Instead of responding with words, they retaliated with pelting stones at his house hoping this will resolve the matter much more quickly. I fail to see how this is the solution. Their were slogan chanting and according to PTI:

"He seems to have forgotten his legendary father Raj Kapoor's association with former PM Indira Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi, Indira and Rajiv Gandhi have laid down their lives for the nation so there is nothing wrong is naming assets after them," NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik said, according to PTI.

We understand that the NCP is not happy that these facts are being questioned and that they have to show their loyalty towards the Gandhi family as they largely run the Congress party, but pelting stones in this day and age in only going to make things look even more shadier. If only, they have made sure that even more people are aware of this issue and asking these very same questions. Rishi Kapoor should thank them for creating more awareness.
