Rajesh Pillai's Last Movie Traffic To Be Released Soon.

Rajesh Raman Pillai  was an Indian film director  known for his phenomenal work in Malayalam cinema. Pillai was suffering from liver cirrhosis when he passed away in February this year. He made his directional debut with Hridayathil Sookshikkan in 2005 which was a huge failure.His second movie Traffic,inspired by real life events was released in 2011. Written by brothers Bobby and Sanjay, this movie was a huge success. 

Later,the director started working on Mili, a heroine-centric film.The movie was released in January 2015 and received positive reviews from critics.His last movie Vettah,was released on 26 February 2016, a day before his death.

 

Rajesh had started work on the Hindi remake of his hit Malayalam film 'Traffic'.The movie had received many awards such as 1st South Indian International Movie Awards for Best Direction, Jaihind Film Awards 2012 for Best Direction, Reporter TV Film Awards 2012 for Best Direction and Nana Film Awards for Best Direction down in South.The movie was based on a true story about how a life is saved in 150 minutes by a group of strangers in Chennai.

 

The movie is yet to be released in Bollywood.However the first official poster of the movie is out.The cast of the movie includes  Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Shergill, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Divya Dutta among others.Music has been composed by Mithoon. The first schedule of the movie was completed at Hyderabad in August last year and the final schedule started in September in Mumbai and was entirely shot on the Mumbai Pune Expressway. The film will release on 6th May,2016.
